About the Journal

Jurnal Neuroanestesi Indonesia (JNI) is a scientific journal published by the Indonesian Society of Neuronanesthesia and Critical Care (INA-SNACC). INA-SNACC is a professional society dedicated to the development of neuroanesthesia and neurocritical care in Indonesia, comprising Anesthesiologists with Consultant Neuroanesthesia and Critical Care qualifications (SpAnKNA) and trainees undertaking education and training in neuroanesthesia and critical care.

Jurnal Neuroanestesi Indonesia was first published in 2012 and is published three times a year, in February, June, and October. The journal has published approximately 391 articles since its establishment and welcomes scientific contributions from researchers, clinicians, academics, and healthcare professionals from institutions throughout Indonesia and internationally.

Publication and Editorial Policy

Manuscripts submitted to JNI must be original and must not have been previously published in another journal. Manuscripts that have been presented in scientific meeting proceedings may be considered for publication provided that the relevant requirements are fulfilled and written permission from the organizer is obtained.

All submitted manuscripts undergo editorial screening and peer review in accordance with the journal's editorial policies. JNI is committed to maintaining high standards of scientific integrity, publication ethics, and responsible scholarly publishing.

Development of Neuroanesthesia in Indonesia

INA-SNACC plays an important role in the development of neuroanesthesia and neurocritical care in Indonesia through professional education, scientific activities, research, and knowledge dissemination.

The development of neuroanesthesia education in Indonesia has a strong connection with Bandung, which is home to the first and currently the only formal consultant training center specifically dedicated to neuroanesthesia in Indonesia. The professional community of neuroanesthesia and neurocritical care has subsequently developed across institutions and regions throughout Indonesia.
